Definition of “Remote Peering” :

“Remote Peering” is a networking method that allows internet service providers (ISPs) or content delivery networks (CDNs) to connect and exchange traffic with an internet exchange point (IXP) from a distant location, without having to physically connect to the exchange point. This helps in improving network performance and reducing transit costs.
