“Forward Collision Avoidance” is a safety technology in vehicles that monitors the vehicle’s speed, the speed of the vehicle in front of it, and the distance between the vehicles. If the system detects a potential collision, it alerts the driver and can even apply the brakes automatically to avoid or lessen the impact of a crash.
