A Geostationary Orbit is a circular orbit around 35,786 kilometers above the Earth’s equator in which a satellite revolves at the same speed as the Earth’s rotation. This makes the satellite appear stationary from the Earth’s perspective, enabling continuous coverage in a specific area.
