A “Blade Server” is a compact server that is designed for high-density computing. It minimizes space usage and energy consumption by housing multiple thin, modular electronic circuit boards, known as server blades, in a single chassis. Each blade is an independent server, containing processors, memory, integrated network controllers, and optional storage drives.
