Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) is a technology that increases the capacity of fiber-optic networks by transmitting multiple data signals simultaneously at different wavelengths (colors) on the same fiber. This allows for a significant increase in bandwidth without the need for additional cables.
