The “Host-to-Host Layer” is a part of the TCP/IP model that ensures data communication between two hosts. It is responsible for delivering data packets accurately and in order, managing data flow control, error checking and correction, and establishing and terminating connections. It corresponds to the transport layer in the OSI model.
