MMDS, or Multi-channel Multipoint Distribution Service, is a wireless telecommunications technology used for general-purpose broadband networking. It operates in the ultra-high frequency (UHF) portion of the radio spectrum, allowing for transmission of data, voice, and video to multiple locations from a single broadcast tower.
