“NBase-T” is a technology standard for Ethernet networks that allows data speeds of up to 5 Gigabits per second (Gbps) over standard Cat5e and Cat6 Ethernet cables at lengths up to 100 meters. It bridges the speed gap between Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
